We have deep Raleigh roots
Founded in 1946, Raleigh Electric provides residential electrical services to local homeowners and contractors throughout Raleigh and surrounding areas. We also partner with small business owners, property managers, and contractors on commercial electrical projects. Since our humble beginnings in the aftermath of World War II, the Raleigh Electric family has expanded to 25 people, including field technicians, office administrators, and management.

Our Story
Ronald Fuller stepped up when Raleigh Electric needed an electrician
Ronald bought the company in 1986
For three decades, Ronald worked his way up the ladder until he and his wife, Edith, purchased the company in 1986.
Raleigh Electric Company opened its doors on Lenoir Street in 1946 at the site of the Raleigh Convention Center. Ronald Fuller joined the company as a typist in 1957. He didn’t plan to become an electrician, but when the company needed help in the field, Ronald obtained his license to fill the gap.
Ronald's grandchildren continued his legacy.
In 2020, Ronald’s grandchildren, Brandon Fuller and Hannah Flanagan, took an unexpected leap of faith into the family business.
Brandon and Hannah took ownership of Raleigh Electric when Ronald Fuller, still active in the company well into his 80s, became ill and passed away after a long illness.
Today, Edith continues to serve as the company secretary. The entire Raleigh Electric team honors Ronald’s legacy each day with the same commitment and work ethic that he established during his remarkable 67 years with the company.
